Types of Application
Marriage Route – FLR (M) Application
Extend your stay in the UK as the Partner or dependent child of a British citizen or someone who is settled here, obtained refugee status or humanitarian protection.
Private Life in the UK - FLR (FP) Application
Anyone who wishes to extend their stay in the UK as a Partner (10-year route) or Parent (5 year and 10 year route) due to their established family private life in the UK
Long Residence– FLR (LR) Application
Anyone who wishes to extend their stay in the UK based on a minimum of 10-year lawful residence in the UK can apply under this route.
Immigration Rules – FLR (DL) Application
Anyone who wishes to apply for an extension of stay or indefinite leave to remain in the UK if you were refused asylum but given another type of permission to stay in the UK.
Human Rights Claim – FLR (HRO) Application
Anyone who wishes to extend their stay in the UK for Human Rights Claims, outside the rules and not covered under any other forms and route mat apply under this route.

Anyone who wishes to extend their stay in the UK previously under the FLR(O) category is now being replaced by FLR (IR) Application.
